Every Monday through Thursday, athletes show up at the Mizzou Rec's Brewer Courts before 5:30 a.m. to practice for at least two hours. All of the athletes have a permanent physical disability that requires them to play basketball while sitting in a wheelchair. Despite being differently-abled than most athletes on the Mizzou campus, what unites these basketball players is the same as what unites every athletic team - a coach committed to their growth and improvement, a love for the sport, and a common goal to succeed.
